DMC NEW NURSES HONORED IN TESTIMONIAL DINNER

The administration of DMC College Foundation and its College of Nursing honored thirty-five of its newly registered nurses in a festive Testimonial Dinner on January 27, 2007 at the Covered Court of the DMC Campus.

Seventy alumni of DMC triumphed in the December 2-3, 2007 Nursing Licensure Examination, though during the testimonial dinner, several of these new nurses were either in Manila or Cebu filing their registration at the Professional Regulations Commission, while some are in the preliminary stages of applying for the usual examinations for employment abroad.

Hale band clashes in DMC

To jumpstart the DMCCFI 31st Founding Anniversary, Platinum album awardee Hale gave a zestful concert in Dipolog Medical Center College Foundation, Inc. Campus, DMC Open field, Dipolog City on August 22, in cooperation with Hot FM 89.7.

Hale rendered the crowd screaming with their hit songs “The Day You Said Goodnight”, “Kung Wala Ka”, “Bent Down”, “Broken Sonnet” and many more.

DMCnians triumph in PRISAA

Twenty-six delegates from DMC-College Foundation (DMCCFI) participated and reaped awards in the Regional Private Schools Athletic Association (PRISAA) held on January 13-15, 2006 at Zamboanga City.

The ranks and games won by DMC team were: Football (Men); Champion, Lawn Tennis (Women); Champion, Chess (Women); Champion, Badminton (Men); 1st Runner-up, Basketball (Men); First Runner-up, and Badminton (Women); 2nd Runner-up. Mr. Nick M. Martinez, the Head of Zamboanga del Norte – Dipolog – Dapitan (ZDNN) Delegation inclined the team to grab the laurels in the field of sports.   Read more…

Its special highlights were greatly anticipated Literary-Musical Show, Cheerdance Competition, the crowd-drawing Miss DMC, the smashingly successful Bamboo Concert which kicked off the whole show, and the Thanksgiving Party featuring Boy2 Quizon and Kat Alano of MTV.

Ms. Ombalino is Miss DMC ‘06

The quest is finally over as the Miss DMC beauty pageant 2006 was concluded last August 25 at Open Field of DMC College Foundation. It was an evening of magic, beauty and glamour.

Supporters of the eight young and lovely women were breathless with anticipation as the candidates paraded their beauty in the various categories of the pageant. Banners and streamers were raised and waved as the crowds cheered their support for their candidates, who represent the various departments of DMC.

DMCCF conducts Philosophical Symposium

The Philosophy Class of DMC College Foundation held a Philosophical Symposium on the topics “Religion: God’s Existence” and “Phenomenology of Love” at the Zamboanga del Norte Convention Center, Dipolog City on August 10, 2006.

Facilitated by the energetic philosophy instructors Mr. Sanny A. Jalandoni and Mr. Nick Martinez, MPA, the highly interesting symposium was participated by the Bachelor of Science in Nursing Level II students; their presence was considered as part of their academic requirement in the Philosophy of Man subject.
