DMC COVERED COURT OPENS FOR PUBLIC USE

Upon approval of the Board of Trustees of the DMC College Foundation, the new Covered Court opened for use of individuals or groups wishing to conduct sports or other activities under the brand-new infrastructure. Scheduling of reservations are ideally from from 5:30 PM onwards on weekdays and on Sundays as the covered court is used by college students for PE classes, practices and other activities.

The covered court may be rented for sports activities such as basketball, tennis, volleyball or badminton; it may also be used for other social activities, programs or gatherings (with or without admission) at specific rental rates. The rates start at one hundred and fifty pesos (P150.00) per hour, which increases according to additional use of lighting and other accessories. Rental rates for usage of the Covered Court for non-athletic activities start at three hundred and fifty pesos (P350.00) per hour. School-related uses are free of charge as long as proper permission and authorization have been given by the Administration and/or its representatives. All renters of the covered court are given a copy of a set of rules and regulations to be maintained within the duration of covered court usage.

The Early Bird Basketball Association is one of the regular renters of the Covered Court, and recently the Intra-Office Tournament has been scheduled every Saturday until Dec. 2 of this year.

Nick Martinez, the enigmatic Sports Coordinators of DMC College Foundation and Personnel In-Charge of the court, handles all arrangements and scheduling for any activity at the court, as well as its overall supervision.
