BSN IV bags Championship of 34th Founding Anniv. Sports Fest

Level IV students of the Bachelor of Science in Nursing triumphed as the overall champion of the 34th Founding Anniversary Sports Festival on August 11-16, 2008 at the College Grounds.

BSN III came out as the overall first runner up, followed by the Unified Team.

BSN IV emerged as the overall winner of Basketball, Volleyball (Women), Street Soccer, Badminton (Women), Table Tennis (Women), Darts (Men), and Chess (Men and Women), and came out second in Volleyball (Men) and Table Tennis (Men), . BSN III came out champions in Badminton (Men), Table Tennis (Men), Darts (Women) and Cyber Games, and second in Badminton (Women) and Darts (Men). The Unified Team bagged Volleyball (Men) and finished second in Volleyball (Women), Street Soccer, Badminton (Men), Table Tennis (Women), Chess (Men and Women) and Cybergames.

The Unified Team consisted of the BSN Level I and the students of the College of Computer Studies, Criminology, Commerce, Medical/Radiologic Technology, Midwifery, Caregiver, and the new School of Hotel, Restaurant and Institution Management.

Mr. Joel Turno, the school’s Sports Coordinator, oversaw the entire Sports Festival and it was through his leadership and efforts that the games were peacefully played and contributed greatly to the highly festive 34th Founding Anniversary.
